Isle of Man Routes Information

The Isle of Man sits in the Irish Sea situated 71 miles from Liverpool and 83 miles from Dublin. This small island is just thirty-one miles by thirteen yet it contains a wide variety of cultural and scenic attractions. Although the landscapes are wonderful, the island's main tourist draw is the TT (Tourist Trophy) motorcycle races in the first two weeks in June, a frenzy of speed and burning rubber that's shattered the island's peace annually since 1907.

The annual Isle of Man TT motorbike race is held here every year, which draws many visitors to the island. This is only the most famous of a summer-long list of rallies and races on the island's roads, from the Manx Rally (May), International Rally and Manx Classic (both September) to the Kart Racing Festival (July), where go-karts buzz through the streets of Peel. If you want to stay on the island at these times, it is advisable to book your accommodation well in advance
